Welcome to

Humble Bee Meadows

Organic Practices. Companion Planting

Native Pollinators. Ecosystem Integration

Our farm is named after the humble bee, the traditional name for the hardworking and endearing bumble bee.

We take inspiration from this native pollinator in our organic practices combined with the importance of supporting our natural ecosystem.

Humble Bee Meadows is part of a group of family-run farms in Dresden, Ontario providing fresh quality produce for a community of people passionate about organic, locally grown food.

We work towards ecosystem integration using organic practices, companion planting, propagation of native plants to support our native pollinators, and sustainable farming principles.

Our Farm

What is a market garden?

A small-scale farm producing a wide range of fruits and vegetables through the local growing season. To maintain the highest nutrient content, produce is sold directly to consumers and restaurants.

Where to buy?

Our produce can be found as part of the vegetable box program, and in the store front of our lead partner farm in Dresden Ontario, River Bell Market Garden. Just down the street from us!

Visit the store for fresh, organic produce, pastured eggs, honey, artisan pickles, and gardening supplies.
